Company context
Start with the offer you want to sell.
Canvass gives your team a place to keep the company knowledge behind a campaign. Add product material and proof to Knowledge, then review the audience and messaging for the offer you want to take to market.
Talk about your campaignMake the brief specific enough to use
A company description is a starting point. A campaign also needs an offer, a reason someone would buy it, and evidence your team can deliver. Write down the problem you solve and the decision you want a buyer to make.
For a migration assessment, that might mean a fixed scope, the systems you assess, and the report a customer receives. A managed service needs a different brief, even when the same company sells both. Keep those offers separate when you choose the audience and draft the message.
Keep proof close to the claim
Use Knowledge for product material, playbooks and references your team can review. Keep a source with each claim so the person preparing a campaign can check what it supports.
An uploaded document doesn't prove that a company summary is accurate. Read the resulting context, correct gaps, and check whether the evidence supports this particular offer before using it in outreach.
How Knowledge worksReview the audience before the campaign
In Audience, review the company criteria and buyer roles. Messaging holds the value proposition, voice and call to action. Generated drafts still need your review; creating a draft doesn't activate it.
Keep the offer in view as you make those decisions. The person buying an assessment may have a different responsibility from the person buying ongoing operations.

What should I bring to Canvass?
Start with a description of one offer, the buyers you want to reach, and product or service material your team is allowed to use. Add the evidence behind any customer or performance claim you intend to make.
Does adding company knowledge launch a campaign?
No. Company knowledge supports preparation. Campaign approval and launch are separate decisions with their own checks.
